We’re Looking for a Passionate Chef to Join Our Team!

A brand new restaurant, Tar, is opening this summer on Tervasaari island – and we’re on the lookout for chefs who are ready to jump into our ambitious project! While the name may be Tar, we promise working with us won’t feel like wading through it! 😉

What makes this opportunity truly special?

Tar will be operated by Siigur Restaurants – a renowned and respected restaurant group from Estonia, led by individuals who have received Michelin stars and mentions. This is your chance to work alongside top-level professionals and be part of something exceptional.

What will your days with us look like?

  • You’ll prepare dishes according to our recipes.

  • You’ll keep the kitchen running smoothly – clean, efficient, and with good vibes.

  • You’ll help develop new dishes and experiences – we want your creativity!

  • You’ll work in an international team full of can-do attitude and passion!

Who are you?

  • You have experience in à la carte kitchens or a classical chef -training, a hygiene passport, and most importantly – a passion for food.

  • You can keep things under control, even during a busy shift.

  • You want to create experiences, not just fill plates. You want to cook, not just scoop from a jar.

  • You’re creative, a team player, and a good human being.

  • You speak English – other languages are a plus.

  • No formal chef training? No problem – if you have solid work experience, especially with classic French cuisine and preparation techniques, we’d still love to hear from you.

  • Fresh out of culinary school? We’re also happy to hire motivated and ambitious chefs at the start of their careers!

What do we offer?

  • A permanent, full-time role in a creative and fair workplace – part-time positions (60–112.5h/3 weeks) are also available.

  • Pay: €12.99–17/h + additions, based on the MaRaVa collective agreement.
